Sea Turtle Hospital Breaks Ground – The Island Eye News

On Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 the Zucker Family Sea Turtle Recovery Center took its first step toward concrete reality, with a ceremonial groundbreaking at the South Carolina Aquarium.

Opening in May 2017, the Recovery Center will replace the Madagascar experience and will provide a glimpse into how the aquarium’s sea turtle hospital continues its mission of conservation and care.
