Praise for the launch of Valley Woman

Valley Woman

"I've lived here for eight years now, having moved out straight from college. While I enjoy living here, coming from the Midwest with no trust fund, I've never really felt like I've fit in all that well here. My husband and I now have a young family and both need to work full time to support ourselves.

I struggle with this every day. I enjoy my job, but wish so desperately that I had more time with my son, more time for my husband, more time for domestic duties and more time for myself. It was so nice to see that I am not the only one experiencing these struggles here.
The whole issue really captured and highlighted the uniqueness of what it is to be a valley woman, and after reading it I am realizing I have much more in common with the valley woman than I thought.

I look forward to more issues. Well done."

"That was a wonderful photo of Kimberly Coonis by David N. Seelig on the cover of the March 24 Idaho Mountain Express. Every newsstand seems to radiate that lovely, vibrant, springtime yellow and Kimberly's equally lovely, vibrant, joyous smile.

What a stunning tribute to Coonis, the women of this valley, and all of you."

Thanks.
